Edgar’s parents came to Bringing Hope to the Family (BHTF) when he was only two (2) months old with Hydrocephalus spina bifida (often called water on the brain).
BHTF quickly contacted the local medical facilities to obtain an examination and possible solutions to Edgar’s condition. A generous donor for the United States who had been walking alongside BHTF for several years agreed to fund the surgery of Edgar. Edgar’s surgery took place in Eastern Uganda and as you can see from the video, Edgar is a healthy four-year-old child and lives happily with his family.
This is one of many successful and compassionate stories that can be told from the many years that BHTF over 20 years.
