We held our first youth seminar from 21st to 23rd April 2022 under the theme “Raising a God-fearing Generation” guided by the scripture Proverbs 22:6. It was a full house at Kaihura Full Gospel Church as we hosted over 250 participants for the three days. These included children being supported by Bringing Hope to the Family, both at Home Again, and in the Community.
These were engaged in different sessions on various aspects such as making bible references, making informed life choices, personality types, living harmoniously with others, stress management, financial literacy; and of course, a lot of praise and worship and fun interactions amongst themselves after the school term.
The event was graced by our Founder and Executive Director, Hon Faith Kunihira who shared vital life skills with the participants.
As a faith-based organization, it is only right that we ensure all children who benefit from our programs are God-fearing, morally upright, and disciplined. We are committed to supporting our children to live purposeful lives and become impactful members of society in the future. We believe they will return to school feeling motivated and inspired to do their very best after the seminar.
